Meet Our Grant Recipients

Since our inception, we have awarded $115,000 in grant awards to 30 different organizations. With these awards, we aim to alleviate the impediments to participation in educational athletics.

The true gift, however, is not the athletic equipment or financial support that we donate, it's the opportunity to inspire today's youth to change their outlook on each day, moment, or challenge they face.

Get To® Foundation was founded, to continue Ben Jones’ legacy of inspiring others to consider obligations and obstacles as opportunities. By providing resources to communities, teams and individuals we encourage others to shift their perspective from “have to” to “Get To.”

Our grant program was started to help young people participate in activities that help foster their "Get To" attitude. Many organizations either struggle to acquire all the resources necessary to provide these opportunities or place a considerable burden on those who wish to participate.

By providing grants this year, we aim to alleviate the impediments to participation in educational athletics. The true gift, however, is not the athletic equipment or financial support that we donate, it's the opportunity to inspire today's youth to change their outlook on each day, moment, or challenge they face. Through our donation, we encourage young people to shift their outlook from "have to" to "Get To" in all instances of life, empowering them to see each task ahead as an opportunity, not an obstacle: "We get to spend time with family and friends, we get to go to class, we get to challenge ourselves, and we get to play sports."

Get To® Grant Guidelines

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be members of or exist as qualified nonprofit organizations (usually Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) organizations). Grants will not be made to private foundations, or for-profit enterprises.

  • Grants are not made to any group that discriminates on the basis of age, color, race, national origin, gender identity, marital status, sensory, mental or physical ability, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

  • Grants are not made to any group that discriminates on the basis of age, color, race, national origin, gender identity, marital status, sensory, mental or physical ability, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

  • Grant requests are not retroactive; i.e. requests must be for an project or activity that is planned for the future.

  • Each organization can only win one request per grant cycle.

Grant Winners Must Provide the Following

  • Detailed report on fund allocation

  • Testimony on grant impact for organization / team within 6 months of receipt of funds

  • Representation of your organization at a future Get To® event

  • Everyone that meets the requirements listed above. We are looking to help remove barriers for participation in all youth/student organizations. If you're not sure, just apply!

  • Winners will be announced on February 15, 2026. We will coordinate donation specifics on a case by case basis.

  • Any expenses related to your organization's operations (i.e. equipment, fees, transportation, officials, facility use, etc.). If you're not sure if your organizational needs qualify, just ask!
